 Heart of Texas, Vol. 1 Jun 09, 2008
Since Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors, I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style and various stories within the book. I felt like I truly got to know her wonderful, interesting and unique cast of Texas characters. I'm looking forward to reading Volumes 2 and 3.

I have not found a Debbie Macomber book that I didn't like yet. She writes about old town living and the close friendship that those towns have to offer, each book is full of characters who bring help and change into each other lives. SHE writes with such ease, it is a pleasure reading them!

Nice easy read. Before I finished the first book I ordered the remaining two. Looking forward to her new Promise book coming in Sept. 08.

Debbie Macomber wins again Feb 09, 2008
I have been a fan of Debbie's for a few years now, because she makes her characters come alive and you want to know what they are doing all the time. I have read all her Cedar Cove books and the knitting series, but I never got to read the Texas series, so I went looking here at Amazon. I found the combined books called Heart of Texas, and got quite a good deal, for both of them, as used. The first 2 books are in this Heart of Texas#1 and now I have finished #2 also. I can't wait to get the third set. My favorite thing about Amazon is that you can type in anything and they will find it for you and at a great price. I really love shopping here.
